I’m really excited to read the Traitor Spy Trilogy waiting for all 3 books to be out before I start. Is this book a YA? Sonea and Akkarin must do all their best to protect everything, and everyone, they treasure, even if it means letting everyone in the guild cast the two of them out. I wasn’t too thrilled at the first part, but the second part kind of makes up for it, and it seems like there could be interesting developments in the two other books.

This lordd definitely the more interesting part of the book.

The generalizations became a little too evident and in my opinion, too easy. It’s a pretty straightforward young adult fantasy novel, but it is a nice story that sets up the next two books marvelously. Ek the character that has the full potential to be in a ship I’d ship with all my heart.


The Magicians’ Guild [Oct 15, ]. No matter how many stones the dwellers throw, the magicians won’t feel a thing. Katerin This was exactly what Canagan thought after finishing it. The characters were well developed and the world building great. They’re good or they’re bad, they’re male or they’re female, but very little stands out about them and they lack any real complexity despite a few attempts at it.

However, perhaps the most prevalent emotion is regret at having finished the book. Magic has traditionally belonged to the upper classes alone, and so Sonea flees the magicians,believing they will attempt to kill her.

Their trickery made me giddy, but as it neared the last confrontation, I felt certain that Akkarin would not survive. Maybe I would have accepted it more oord if there had been a little more foreshadowing and ambiguity in previous novels or if there was a bit more grwn in this one, but Sonea and Loreln especially seemed too trdi to forgive a I really disliked the dramatic shift in Akkarin’s character that took place in this book. If you want to read an enjoyable trilogy with a meager first novel, go read this trilogy.

It just hasn’t grabbed my imagination and I may have to be in the mood to attempt it again. Merece la pena darle una oportunidad. I’d recommend reading the trilogy together and in order, which is probably something normal people would do anyway. I promise, the second and third books are a lot better than this one! Because of that, let me just inhale and exhale and perhaps say Holy Shit. Ich fand das Ende sehr gut geschrieben und zum Buch passend.
