This is commputer great book for anybody at least mildly interested in techno-geek stuff, the history of our information age, or if you just like a good autobiography. If you are looking for anything else in this book, you can as well read the reviews of others and forget this book – those reviews will just do. I enjoyed hearing about the inside of the initial success of Apple. How I invented the personal computer, co-founded Apple, and had fun doing It.

This man is brilliant, and Steve Jobs knew it. I was a little shocked with Woz’ casual arrogance throughout his narrative. He also describes, without bitterness, how Jobs shortchanged him on the job. If you like books and love to build cool products, we may be looking for you.

The only areas he went into detail was on some discoveries — like when he built a middle school science project that used logic circuits, the original Apple Cultt board, his work with Attari, and his design for a universal remote.

He’s a brilliant engineer who changed the world just by doing what he loved to do and doing it well.


If you don’t care already, this book won’t change your mine. But in “the most staggering burst of technical invention by a single person in high-tech history” BusinessWeek ” iWoz traces the life and times of a brilliant, gifted If you love what you do and are willing to do what it really takes, it’s within your reach. His sense of humor is legendary and wonderful.

This might be either because of the amount of respect I have for him or may be because I just wanted to hear all the stories whether good or bad. Thank you again for all of your help. The primary purpose of the book appears to be Woz claiming his place in history as the inventor of the personal computer.


I didn’t get the impression that he was arrogant. He even added some idoz not found on the commercial game, such as displaying the score onscreen and displaying four-letter exclamations when missing a ball. A teddy bear really.
